Brian Best, Senior Advisor, Commercial Operations
Brian has sixteen years of pharamaceutical industry experience specializing in marketing, sales, business development, clinical and medical affairs. Most recently, he joins us from PDL BioPharma where he held dual roles of Director, Business & Corporate Development and Team Leader, Ularitide Program – a late stage cardiovascular compound. Mr. Best's background includes his time with Millennium where he held various positions including Director of Marketing for INTEGRILIN®, Director of a key accounts sales organization focused on growing INTEGRILIN® sales and, Director of Medical Affairs, developing and leading the MSL organization while managing the execution of medical education and more than 40 phase 4 studies of INTEGRILIN®.
Mr. Best has obtained significant experience in thrombosis, heart failure, and cardiogenic shock and, in collaboration with Duke Clinical Research Institute, has helped to develop the national CRUSADE registry to improve the quality of care for patients with ACS.
